What VESPER does
- Each of the 16 scenes stacks four lush voices around a key you choose, typically arp, lead, bass and swell.
- Everything stays in a major key, so the layers always agree.
- Press ARP to switch the keys from setting the key to playing the focused voice live.
- REC records what you play straight into the sequence, and it works while you play.
- One knob, SPACE, adds grains, shimmer, reverb, echo and a cleaner low end across the whole mix.
- The global chain gives drive and bit crushing, filters and compression, a granular cloud, plate reverb and tape echo.
- SAVE stores your work to 16 user slots alongside the factory scenes.
- Piano, marimba and glockenspiel voices play from VESPER's own sample bank, and Bluetooth and MIDI settings live on GLO.
Its modes
- HOME
- Shows the crystal orbit, where the four layers turn as rings around the key you set.
- Mixer
- A second press of HOME gives a 4-track mixer whose faders become pan when you hold SEL.
- EDIT
- Five pages per voice: SOUND, TONE, OSC, VOICE and MIX for level, pan, reverb send and echo send.
- ENV / LFO
- Sets amp and filter envelopes plus tempo-synced filter motion, autopan and analog drift.
- FX
- Steps through the global chain one page per press: DIRT, TONE, TEXTURE, then VERB + DELAY.
- GLO
- Holds clock and MIDI settings, Bluetooth, swing, click and the THEME choice.
- PRESETS
- Opens the save slots, where K1 switches between USER and FACTORY.
