What tidepool-fm1 does
- Thirteen banks hold sixteen loops each, drones, melodies, beats and textures that always fit in time and key.
- Scenes run from Shallows and Deep Space through Zen Garden, Night Cafe and Old Blood.
- Every sound is synthesised live from oscillators, filters, envelopes and noise, with no samples.
- White keys turn loops on and off, and new ones come in on the next beat.
- KNOB 1 to 4 shape a row's four loops for Volume, Attack, Decay, Reverb, Echo or Pan.
- Hold PLAY and turn KNOB 1 to swap the bank's chord progression for one of ninety-nine others in the same key.
- The Blank Canvas records your own loops of 1, 2 or 4 bars on 36 instruments, including a drum kit and hand drums.
- SAVE keeps the tempo, the bank and every loop's settings, while recorded loops save themselves straight away.
Its modes
- Playback

- Autoplay

- Recording mode
- Press GLO on the Blank Canvas to play an instrument from the keys and record your own loops.
