What scintilla-fm1 does
- Scintilla turns the FM-1 into the 1981 Elka Synthex, with all 80 factory sounds built in.
- You get the 40 PRESETS and the 40 MEMORIES, including Paul Wiffen's Laser Harp "Ring mod.".
- Each voice has two PolyBLEP oscillators, noise, a zero-delay-feedback filter in five modes, two envelopes and two LFOs.
- Glide, hard sync, ring mod and cross mod shape the voices further.
- Two layers play poly, mono or unison, split or doubled, through chorus, reverb and a limiter.
- You play it from the keys and shape sounds with the knobs and pages on the screen.
- USB and DIN MIDI both connect, and the firmware keeps only its own settings.
- Eight voices run on one layer and sixteen across both.

We couldn't tell which file in this release is the FM-1 one, so we didn't scan it.
Les scans every firmware here whose file is public, and shows what it checked and what it found. A scan lowers the risk; it can't rule it out. This firmware is made by its author, not by Les or M-VAVE. Back up first, and install at your own risk. How Les scans firmware
