What PERF-1 does
- Five generative parts play from switch-on: a pad, bass, acid line, pluck counter-melody and drums.
- Sixteen genres hold ten pieces each, from techno and house to dub, trap and amapiano.
- The pad has 24 sounds, the bass 24, the acid 31, and the pluck 12 plus DX7 voices.
- A six-lane sixteen-step sequencer gives six patterns a piece, with Euclidean fills, probability, lane length and ratchets.
- Tap SAVE for a breakdown, again for the build and drop, or let the auto-DJ run the set.
- Press GLO then SAVE to store a piece in its genre, and it returns at power-on.
- The FM-1 works as a USB audio and MIDI device, so you record the performance into your DAW.
