What MORPHEUS does

  • Eight tracks hold dual 303 acid basses, TR-808 and TR-909 kits, Amen break slicer, FM lead and sub synth.
  • Press LFO to cycle a track through the engines, from 303A and 303B to the drums, breaks, FM, SUB and MIDI.
  • Each track runs its own pattern length from 1 to 32 steps with its own clock resolution for polyrhythms.
  • Press REC and play the 27 silicone keys to punch in notes with automatic step advance.
  • On drum tracks the 16 white keys toggle triggers for the lane picked with K1, and K4 adds accent.
  • KNOB 2 ties a step for a smooth 303 glide, and high velocity fires the accent overdrive.
  • A master bus adds send reverb, tempo-synced stereo delay and a glue compressor with kick ducking.
  • SAVE writes every track, pattern and sound setting to flash, and the patterns reload on power up.
