What MONO2K does
- Six tracks each play one of nineteen machines: sines, noise, FM, supersaw, chords, digital waves, voice, drums and FX.
- Every track runs a full chain: amp envelope, filter band, distortion, EQ, rate reduction, its own delay, bits, wavefold and XOR.
- The sequencer gives each track up to 64 steps, with any knob locked to any step.
- Each step trigs the amp, the filter envelope and the LFOs independently, and carries conditions and up to four ratchets.
- Record live while the pattern plays, enter notes step by step while stopped, or hit the tracks as pads.
- Hold FX for PERFORM, where the black keys repeat, reverse, freeze, filter, crush or kill the bus while held.
- SAVE keeps the pattern and held SAVE keeps the project, with a library of 128 sounds beside the patterns.
- MIDI arrives over USB or the TRS jack to play tracks, follow or send clock, and the Patch Editor reads and writes patterns.
