What Mini-Vision does
- WTSYNTH plays two wavetable layers from 63 tables, with POSITION, MIX, OCT2, RANGE, a sine-fold wave shaper and phase modulation.
- Its filter offers LP12, BP12, HP12, LP24, BP24, HP24 and three ladder low passes, with CUT, RES, KEY and DRIVE.
- An oscillator AD envelope moves position and mix, alongside the track's ENV, LFO, four-slot modulation matrix and FX pages.
- TR808 gives sixteen drum voices in five kits, with TUNE, DECY, SNAP, drive, velocity depth and per-voice levels.
- Six tracks share eight voices and 64 steps each, with chords, ties, accent, slide, chance, ratchets, parameter locks and live loop recording.
- Stochastic and Euclid modes draw steps as they play, and LOCK writes a drawn pass into the pattern for editing.
- Chord keys, an arpeggiator, 16 scales with a white-key mode, glide and MONO, LEGATO or UNISON shape how you play.
- Save to 32 user preset slots and four projects named on the device, chain them in songs, and connect USB MIDI, USB audio and TRS MIDI.

What Les checked
Mini-Vision minivision-1.0.1Scanned October 31, 2026
What we checked for
- The file is exactly the one its author published
- It's the same file we saw when this release first came out
- It opens cleanly as an FM-1 firmware, nothing damaged
- It doesn't show up on your computer as a keyboard, mouse or other input device
- It doesn't show up as a USB drive or network adapter
- Its text mentions no computer command tools, like PowerShell, Terminal or a download command
What we found
- MIDI and audio, as expected
- A serial port, which many FM-1 firmwares keep for debugging. It can't type into your computer.
