What Loom FM-1 does
- Fourteen engines cover virtual analog, six-operator FM, wavetable, granular, slicing, multisample, physical modelling, formant, organ, chiptune, noise and drums.
- Five tracks play at once: four polyphonic synth or sampler parts plus a drum track with choke groups.
- Each track holds a 64-step sequencer with chords, ties, accent, slide, chance, velocity, ratchets and parameter locks.
- Record live with overdub, step record at the cursor, or reshape patterns with SEQ TOOLS like RANDOM and COOK.
- Chord keys, a chord progression generator and a ten-mode arpeggiator turn one finger into full voicings.
- Hold FX for repeat, reverse, filter sweeps, tape stop, freeze, harmonizer, flanger, phaser and reverb or delay throws.
- Save sounds to 32 user slots and four projects, chain them in SONG, and power on where you left off.
- USB carries class-compliant MIDI and stereo audio to a computer, with TRS MIDI in and a browser editor for patches and samples.
