What FMEL-1 does
- You play real Mellotron tapes recorded from a 1973 Mellotron M400S, packed for the FM-1.
- A fifth sound, PIANO, gives four looped keys of a Steinway B with a little drive, a gentle low-pass and slow pitch wobble.
- Basic FX and lo-fi tape effects colour the tapes.
- Two reverbs are on hand: HALL and PLATE.
- A speaker EQ offers FLAT, LOWCUT and BASS+ settings.
- SELECT works like a hand on the tape's reel.
- The same code the FM-1 runs also plays in your browser as a simulator.

StatusScanned, nothing harmful found
Les scans every firmware here whose file is public, and shows what it checked and what it found. A scan lowers the risk; it can't rule it out. This firmware is made by its author, not by Les or M-VAVE. Back up first, and install at your own risk. How Les scans firmware
