What fm1-luogu does

  • LUOGU plays 64 京剧 percussion patterns, each with its 起, a 中 that repeats until you cut it, and its 收.
  • The 字谱 lights up syllable by syllable as it sounds, with 板 marked × and 眼 marked ○.
  • Eighteen 板式 let you sing with a band: the 锣鼓 leads in, the 京胡 plays the 大过门, the 板 keeps time.
  • Five complete arias run from the opening 过门 to the end with the 京胡 and lit lyrics.
  • Turn K2 to pick your instrument and the band leaves it out for you to play on the keys.
  • REC scores every stroke as 准, 早 or 晚, counting missed and extra strokes against you.
  • The keys are laid out as each player's hands go, or play 京胡, 京二胡 or 月琴 in the 调门.
  • SAVE keeps the page, pattern, tempo, 调门, mix, instrument, keys, octave, loop, 板眼 and 跟练, and a MIDI keyboard or pad works over USB.

Its modes

锣鼓
Pick one of the 64 luogu jing patterns with ALGO and PRESET and play it, with its 字谱 lighting up as it sounds.
跟打
Press REC and play your chosen instrument's strokes along with the band, each one judged and scored at the end.
跟练
Press FX so the music waits at each syllable until you strike its key, and jumps ahead when you strike early.
唱腔
Choose one of the 18 板式 and sing while the 锣鼓 leads in, the 京胡 plays the 大过门 and the 板 keeps time.
唱段
Turn PRESET to the aria group and sing a whole aria while the 京胡 carries you and the lyrics light up.
混音
Press GLO to balance the 武场, the 文场, reverb and the keys, and switch the 京二胡 or 月琴 off.
键位图
Press SEL to see each key's syllable, coloured by player and lit as you press it.
