What FIZZ does
- Six tracks play FM TONE, ChoralRoot's FM voice, sharing eight voices.
- Each track holds eight pages of sixteen steps with locks, chance, conditions, ratchets and chords of up to six notes.
- Tap a white key for a step, hold it and turn knobs or press black keys for its values.
- The sound editor gives operators, envelopes, six filter machines, crush, drive, portamento, three LFOs and eight modulation slots.
- REC turns the keybed into a keyboard and records takes, notes and knob moves in any view.
- FIZZ writes the project by itself: eight projects, each with 64 patterns and a pool of 128 sounds.
- The shared preset library holds the factory sounds and up to 256 of your own, tagged and browsed with PRESETS.
- MIDI comes in over USB or the TRS jack to play tracks, set sounds and follow an outside clock.
Its modes
- PIANO ROLL
- See the mode's lane across the page, with beat dots over the columns.
- STEPS
- See all eight pages as rows of sixteen steps, the page you edit unfolded.
- EDIT
- See the hold mode's big drawing above the page's row, following the music as it plays.
- GEEK OUT
- Watch METERS, NUMBERS, VOICES and SCOPE, turned with SELECT.
- SOUND EDITOR
- Shape the selected track's FM TONE sound group by group, or lock values on a held step.
- MIX
- Set each track's level, pan and sends, mute and solo tracks, and lock those values per step.
- FX
- Set the chorus, delay, reverb and master filter, and order them on the ROUTING page.
- PATTERNS
- Pick a bank and a pattern, and choose when it comes in.
- TOOLS
- Run ROTATE, REVERSE, RANDOM, EUCLID, GRIDS, HUMANIZE, QUANTIZE, LENGTH, STRETCH and CLIP on steps, a page, a track or a pattern.
- MIDI FX
- Edit the track's group of eight slots, with arp, chance, repeat, harmony, chord and more.
