What Bunker Evolved does
- Four tracks called AIR, MELODY, ROOT and SPARK share eight voices across 64 sounds and 24 worlds.
- Press PLAY and a world unfolds, with seven bounded mutation modes plus LOCK developing the pattern as it loops.
- GROW fits, nudges or regrows a phrase to a chosen root and scale, and OCT− undoes one step.
- MOTIF builds rhythms from 24 templates with density, length up to 64 steps and adjustable step rate.
- ALGORITHM picks the track, HOME and SELECT move through the six pages, and KNOB 1 to 4 match the display fields.
- STEP and DETAIL let you edit single notes, chords, ratchets, timing and velocity, and record chords from the keys.
- EDIT, ENV, LFO, FX, SCL, ARP and GLO open the full engine, envelope, modulation, effect and scale editors.
- SAVE keeps projects in four slots and sounds in 32 user slots, and the installer backs music up over USB MIDI.

What Les checked
Bunker Evolved v1.0.0Scanned October 31, 2026
What we checked for
- The file is exactly the one its author published
- It's the same file we saw when this release first came out
- It opens cleanly as an FM-1 firmware, nothing damaged
- It doesn't show up on your computer as a keyboard, mouse or other input device
- It doesn't show up as a USB drive or network adapter
- Its text mentions no computer command tools, like PowerShell, Terminal or a download command
What we found
- MIDI and audio, as expected
- A serial port, which many FM-1 firmwares keep for debugging. It can't type into your computer.
