What acid-fm1 does
- A monophonic saw and pulse voice runs through an original saturated four-pole filter with cutoff, resonance, envelope, decay and accent.
- Patterns hold up to 64 steps with notes, rests, accents, slides, per-step probability, one to four ratchets and cutoff locks.
- Independent note, accent and slide loop lengths, swing, four directions, root and scale choice, seeded generation and mutation reshape a pattern.
- Three tempo-related modulators with six shapes, including eight-point curves, route to cutoff, resonance, pulse width, drive, pitch or level.
- Seven distortion modes, a mono feedback delay with stereo taps, chorus and compact ambience finish the sound.
- PLAY starts and stops the pattern, SELECT turns through the sixteen pages, and K1 to K4 edit the four displayed values.
- Live mode plays a last-note-priority voice, ARP switches to a held-note arpeggiator, and REC writes notes into steps.
- SAVE stores the whole patch and pattern in one of four slots, with USB and TRS MIDI carrying notes, transport and clock.
